City of Kitchener extends snow event

The City of Kitchener has extended its snow event until Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
The event was initially called on Friday in preparation for the winter storm that hit the region.
With the snow event extended, a parking ban remains in place in Kitchener.
All vehicles that are parked on the street during the event could be ticketed or towed.
During a snow event, a ticket for parking on the street is $80.
