City of Kitchener hosting development forum for local musicians

The City of Kitchener is hosting a development forum for local musicians later this month.
It will be held at Catalyst Commons on Glasgow Street on January 26 starting at 6 p.m.
The event is being put on through a collaborative effort involving Centre in the Square, Walksinshaw Holdings, and The Registry Theatre. Support is also being provided by Catalyst Commons and Waterloo Brewing.
According to a release from the City of Kitchener, “The forum is geared towards independent local musicians who want to develop their music businesses and learn about the changes that have taken place in the music industry and how to navigate them.”
There will be networking opportunities with music industry professionals, as well as several speakers.
It's free to attend but tickets are required.
