Charges pending following crash in Wellesley Township

Waterloo Regional Police say charges are pending following a two-vehicle collision in Wellesley Township.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, in the area of Lobsinger Line and Anita Drive.

Police allege an SUV was travelling east on Lobsinger when it crossed the centre line and struck a transport truck that was stopped.

The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Lobsinger Line in that area reopened to traffic around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
