Kitchener, Waterloo among the most ‘polite’ cities when ordering food

From the pickiest eaters to the biggest tippers, Uber Eats collected all the data and released it in its third annual cravings report.

Canadians are known for being well-mannered, but the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo are being recognized as two of the most polite when ordering food.

According to the report released on Wednesday, when residents of Kitchener and Waterloo order, they say please and thank you in their delivery instructions more than most other cities in Ontario. The only other cities in the province ahead of them were Ottawa, Hamilton and Kingston.

Not only do K-W residents never forget their manners, they're also very conscious of what they're eating. Kitchener-Waterloo is second on the list of Ontario cities that order the most healthy food options through the app.

There was only one city in the province to make the list of big spenders. Belleville ranked 9th in all of Canada as one of the biggest tippers once their food was delivered.

The pickiest eaters in Ontario apparently live in Windsor, and Toronto made the list for biggest Uber Eats order. That selected amounted to $1,200, and surprisingly that was not the biggest total this year. Someone in Vancouver topped the list with a total of $1,600.

The report also noted that chicken nuggets was the most requested side items, and that Japanese food was the most popular cuisine ordered.
