City of Kitchener hosting ‘enchanted forest’ walk in Breithaupt Park (update)

The City of Kitchener is offering a magical experience.

It's hosting an enchanted forest walk in Breithaupt Park from Wednesday, October 27 to Saturday, October 30. 

The events were initially set to run from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Participants be able to explore a one-kilometre trail, illuminated with colourful light displays after dark. 

While it's completely free, registration is required and COVID-19 protocols will be in place.

There's also a disclaimer that there may be some flashing, twinkling and bright lights along the trail. 

As of October 27, the event had completely sold out but due to the high demand, the city added 7 p.m. timeslots for each scheduled day. 

Spots were limited and sold out over the noon hour.
