Police believe airsoft gun was used in Kitchener assault

Police are looking for a suspect following an assault in Kitchener.

It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday, in the area of Duke Street East and Cedar Street North.

Police believe the victim was struck by a projectile from a suspected airsoft gun. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

Investigators also believe it was a targeted incident.
