COVID-19 vaccine policies take effect at Laurier and UW

It is back to class for post-secondary students across the region.
And COVID-19 vaccine policies take effect Tuesday at both Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo.
Proof of vaccination or exemption needed to be submitted by students, staff and faculty at both schools by the start of the day.
At Laurier, anyone that still needs to get a second dose are expected to get the shot and provide proof by October 8.
At UW, proof of a second dose for those who have yet to get one have until October 17, and will have to take part in regular rapid testing until then.
