Busy day at St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market makes physical distancing a challenge

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

A beautiful summer day meant that St. Jacobs Farmers' Market & Flea Market was packed, and physical distancing was a challenge.

According to staff, one of the biggest challenges was people not following marked walking directions on the ground on one of the busiest days of the year.

They said everyone needs to play their part without being policed.

You might notice some vendors without masks; staff say that vendors have been given the bylaw information, but some are unable to follow it due to medical reasons or otherwise.

The market opens every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
