The big lottery wins keep coming for residents of Waterloo Region.
A mother-daughter duo from Cambridge are the latest to cash in.
Amanda McInnis and Jennifer Kemp won $1,000 a week for life on a Cash For Life instant ticket.
They instead opted for the lump sum payout of $675,000.
McInnis went to the store and decided to buy a ticket when the clerk suggested it to her. “At first I said no, but then I changed my mind. The clerk asked which one would I like, and I said, 'the winning one,'”” she shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pickup their cheque.
She said she thought she was “hallucinating” when she saw the Life symbol appear three times.
Both mother and daughter plan on buying new homes.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Hespeler Road in Cambridge.
