Canada edges Russia to win World Juniors

Canada has won the final game in the 2020 world junior hockey championship, edging Russia 4-3.
The win increases Canada's gold medal count to 18 and comes after Canada lost to Russia 6-0 in an earlier match in the tournament.
On Sunday, Canada's Akil Thomas scores with four minutes left in the third period to keep Canada in the lead.
With a backhand shot to the roof of the net, Thomas scored his first goal of the tournament and the deciding point in the game.
Other players from Canada to score included Dylan Cozens in the first period, Barrett Hayton and Connor McMichael, who scored a goal and an assist.
Canada's Alexis Lafreniere and Calen Addison each got an assist.
This is the fourth time Russia has lost in the finals during the annual under 20 tournament.
