Yet another lawsuit has been filed against Wilfrid Laurier University, in connection to the Lindsay Shepherd scandal.
She first made headlines when she was chastised by the school for playing TV clips of Jordan Peterson from the University of Toronto, and how he condemns the use of gender-neutral pronouns.
Shepherd was told she had done something as bad as failing to condemn Hitler by not condemning Peterson.
Peterson has now filed a statement of claim for a $1.5 million lawsuit.
570 NEWS is expecting to hear further details from Peterson's lawyer, who is also Shepherd's lawyer in her lawsuit against Laurier.
In a statement, Laurier says it will vigorously defend against this statement of claim.
And it says Laurier remains committed to intellectual inquiry, freedom of expression and more, while striving to be a supportive and inclusive community.
