It was a busy weekend for Regional Police.
Police say they made a third arrest in connection with an assault Friday on Shantz Station Road in Woolwich Township.
A man was treated in hospital and then released.
A Kitchener man has now been charged with assault causing bodily harm, joining another Kitchener man and a female who were previously arrested on firearms and assault charges.
Meantime, an unattended candle is the suspected cause of a fire Friday that caused $150,000 in damage.
One man was taken to hospital as a precaution for treatment of smoke inhalation following a blaze on Brybeck Crescent.
On another front, police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a suspect following an assault at a bar on Hazelglen Drive.
It happened early yesterday and resulted in a man suffering facial injuries.
He was treated in hospital and released.
