Excedrin painkiller recall extended to Canada

A recall on two Excedrin-brand painkillers in the United States has made its way to Canada.

The Canadian Health Agency announced all over-the-counter Excedrin Extra Strength Caplets and Excedrin Tension Headache Caplets, with an expiration date of December 20, 2014 and earlier, have been recalled.

There are reports of chipped and broken pills as well as inconsistent bottle packaging.

The FDA warns this could result in bottles containing foreign tablets, caplets or capsules.
