Curtains up for Stratford!

The curtain rises tonight on one of the most revered theatre festivals in the world, and it happens in Stratford.
The 2011 Stratford Shakespeare Festival officially opens tonight.
The shows at this year’s Festival are: Camelot; The Grapes of Wrath; The Homecoming; Hosanna; Jesus Christ Superstar; The Little Years; The Merry Wives of Windsor; The Misanthrope; Richard III; Shakespeare’s Will; Titus Andronicus; Twelfth Night.
Among the highlights of this year’s season, movie star Brian Dennehy returns to the Festival for his second season, appearing in both “Twelfth Night” and “The Homecoming.”
The title character in “Richard III” will be played by a woman, veteran Stratford star, Seana McKenna.
And Tony-winning director Frank Galati makes his Stratford debut at the helm of “The Merry Wives of Windsor.”
