Waterloo man arrested following knife-related dispute

One man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges following a dispute Saturday afternoon involving a knife.

It happened at roughly 2:50 p.m. at a home near University Avenue East and Marshall Street in Waterloo.

When police arrived, officers tried to talk to a man who allegedly pulled a knife and made threats towards other people as well as officers.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. the man was arrested without incident.

The 30-year-old Waterloo man is now facing multiple charges including assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
