Police seek three suspects in forced entry, assault

Waterloo Regional Police are searching for three male suspects in connection to an assault.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. Friday. Police say three males forced entry into a residence in the area of Main Street and Ainslie Street in Cambridge before allegedly assaulting a 60-year-old male.

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they believe the incident was targeted.

The General Investigations Unit is investigation and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
