One person hurt in Cambridge robbery

A robbery in Cambridge is under investigation and police say one person was hurt.

Waterloo regional police responded to the Grand Avenue South and Crombie Street area on Tuesday afternoon.

It was due to reports of a person-on-person robbery.

One individual suffered non-life-threatening injuries resulting from the incident but they were not hospitalized.

Further information on the robbery was not immediately released, although a police spokesperson told 570 NewsRadio that early information made mention of one suspect.

Police asked the public to avoid the Grand Avenue South and Crombie Street area as their investigation continued.
