Victim hurt in Kitchener jewellery store robbery, suspects at large

One person was hurt in a brazen daytime robbery at a jewellery store in Kitchener, and the suspects are still at large.

A spokesperson with Waterloo Regional Police Service confirms 570 NewsRadio, four suspects came into an unidentified store, using hammers to smash open display cases, and then fled the scene in a white SUV waiting outside.

This was at Fischer-Hallman Road and Highland Road West area, soon after 5:00, Tuesday afternoon.

Officers found one person at the scene with minor injuries, but police said they did not need to go to hospital.



The only description of the suspects at this time is that they were all wearing dark clothing and masks.

The investigation continues.
