4 arrested, Lexus seized in break-and-enter investigation

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested four individuals following a break-and-enter at a business in Woolwich Township.

Officers say they were called to a commercial property on Earl Martin Drive around 12:40 a.m. Saturday to reports of suspicious activity.

Police say an initial investigation determined three individuals exited a white Lexus SUV and allegedly cut through fencing to access multiple commercial properties.

Officers located and arrested the three individuals as well as the driver of the Lexus.

As a result, three men from Cambridge, aged 28, 38 and 40, have been charged with the following offences:

  • Two counts of mischief under $5,000;
  • Break, enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offence;
  • Possession of break in instruments; and
  • Trespass/prowl near a dwelling house.

The 40-year-old male was also charged with obstructing police.

A 42-year-old woman from Woolwich Township was charged with possession of break in tools and breaking and entering into a place with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Police say the Lexus was seized as offence-related property.
