Weapon pulled, three arrested in road rage incident

Three men are under arrest following a road rage incident in Kitchener on Friday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of the incident near Kent Avenue around 5:30 p.m.

They confirmed three men had got into a physical altercation, with one allegedly pulling a box cutter that was used to inflict minor physical injuries.

All three were placed under arrest, including a 21-year-old from Kitchener and a 24-year-old from New Hamburg as well and a 45-year-old also from Kitchener.

All parties are due in court in December, and are facing a number of charges including:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Assault (two counts)
