The Kitchener Rangers had a difficult night on the road Wednesday against the Flint Firebirds, falling 3-0 against the team from Michigan.
Firebirds goaltender Mason Vaccari picked up the shutout as the Blueshirts’ offence failed to get going through three periods.
Plenty of hockey left to be played for the Rangers over the next seven days as they prepare for a pair of road games this weekend before hosting the Guelph Storm on Tuesday.
Next up for the Rangers is a trip to Sault St. Marie on Friday for a tilt against the Greyhounds.
