Suspicious death in North Dumfries under investigation: WRPS

The death of a woman in North Dumfries, Waterloo regional police say, is suspicious, prompting an investigation.
During the early morning hours of Sept. 12, the woman was found dead in the area of West River Road and Brant-Waterloo Road.
The age of the deceased has not been released, but police say the victim has been identified and next of kin have been notified.
Police believe a vehicle may have been involved in the woman’s death, but the investigation is still ongoing.
