Cambridge man arrested in child exploitation investigation

Waterloo regional police made an arrest in a lengthy, ongoing child exploitation investigation.

Back in 2022, police launched an investigation that eventually led to the arrest of 36-year-old Justin Garzon of Cambridge on Aug. 20.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Interpol and Peel Regional Police all assisted in the investigation.

Investigators were able to identify a series of offences involving youth victims. It was also revealed that the accused allegedly engaged in online communication with underage victims for several years while accumulating and distributing illicit materials.

WRPS continue to investigate and believe there may be other victims.

Garzon was known to use several different alias’s online. Those include:

  • Justin Alexander Garzon
  • Ziggy
  • Xavier Kain
  • GatsbyASMR and GatsbyNSFW
  • (TikTok) Egsneakyboi
  • (Kik) AlexMrDaddy, AlexDadDepraved, DaughtLove, famlover5, incstlvr5, and Johnnymiracle
  • (Snapchat) Dad748392

Justin Garzon has been charged with:

  • Luring a child (five counts)
  • Invitation to sexual touching (two counts)
  • Making child sexual abuse material (three counts)
  • Possessing child sexual abuse material (four counts)
  • Distributing child sexual abuse material (two counts)
  • Making explicit material available to a child (four counts)

He was held pending a bail hearing.
