Police make arrest at Hespeler home

Waterloo regional police were set up outside a Cambridge home Tuesday morning, looking to make an arrest.
In an email sent to 570 NewsRadio, a police spokesperson said, “Officers are attempting to arrest a wanted individual in a residence and are awaiting a warrant to authorize entry and are containing the residence until such time.”
The nature of that arrest warrant has not been released.
Police were set up at the home near Hahn Avenue and Scott Road as of 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
By 10:00 a.m. police posted on social media that one male had been arrested.
The Hespeler neighbourhood involved in this case is near Fisher Mills Road and Hespeler Road.
Police stress there was no concern for public safety, and no one was hurt.
