A hate-motivated incident in Cambridge is being investigated by Waterloo regional police.
Officers say two suspects remain at large. Around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, a woman was making her way to her car in a parking lot near Pinebush Road and Hespeler Road when she was approached by two men.
Police say they allegedly drove up to her in their own car and began yelling slurs, and the passenger of the car reached out to grab at the victim’s clothing.
The two then fled the scene in their car; no physical injuries were reported from the incident.
Anyone with information on the incident is being asked to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
