Kitten saved by KWSP Humane Society thriving, cuddling with fosters

It is a happy ending for a kitten found with a badly injured leg, saved at the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth.

The humane society said in a new social media post that Hopscotch “is thriving…plays with her toys, cuddles, and loves to show off her spunky personality!”

The HSKWSP raised more than enough money needed to provide the cat with emergency surgery and save its leg earlier in March.

Hopscotch was five-months old when she was found in Shakespeare with a broken leg that required “intensive” surgery.

The Society said Hopscotch is now living with a foster family “until she has fully healed and is ready to find her forever home.”

And after the public came through with donations that exceeded the $5,000 needed to save Hopscotch and pay for her care, the Society said, “We are beyond grateful to everyone who donated, shared her story, and sent well wishes.”
