Regional police help OPP arrest women wanted in a sudden death case

An arrest has been made in connection with a 2023 sudden death investigation.
The Wellington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a 25-year-old woman from Durham, Jessica Bygrave, with indignity to a dead body and theft under $5,000.
The deceased, according to regional police, was 32-year-old Juan David Escobar Ortiz of Kitchener.
An investigation began after the deceased was found in a sedan along Wellington Road 34.
Waterloo Regional Police Services (WRPS) assisted in that arrest that happened in Kitchener March 19, with members of the Repeat Offenders Parole Enforcement Squad.
