Police searching for man after assault inside Waterloo store

Police need to a find a man connected to an alleged assault in a store in Waterloo.

Police say it happened soon before 7:00, Monday night, at a store around Bridgeport Road East and Weber Street North. Officials say a man came in, started insulting an employee, damaged some property, and then assaulted that employee.

No one was physically hurt during the altercation.

Police say the suspect is 30 to 35 years old, about 5′ 8″, with a shaved head, and at the time was wearing a black jacket and loose blue jeans.
