Assault at Cambridge plaza has police searching for male suspect

A brazen assault at a Cambridge plaza has Waterloo Regional Police searching for a suspect.
The incident was reported Thursday around 11:20 a.m. in the Hespeler Road and Bishop Street North area.
An unknown male allegedly started yelling at a victim and making racial comments at them, before assaulting them.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
The suspect is described as being white, around 5 foot 6, with a thin build and brown hair. He’s believed to be between 18 and 20-years-old and was wearing a black winter jacket and boots.
