Camino teams up with Conestoga Mall for ‘Love-firmation’ station
Camino Wellbeing and Mental Health has teamed up with Conestoga Mall for the second year for a “Love-firmation” station to help boost self love this Valentine’s Day.
The station is located outside of Winners and sells affirmation cards such as “I am loved,” “I am enough,” and “I love my body.” For every card that is sold, the mall will donate $1 to Camino to support their mental health services.
Tracey Elop, the CEO of Camino Wellbeing and Mental Health, said affirmations are a simple but powerful tool to help with mental health.
“When we reflect on negative self-talk, it brings us down,” she said. “When we focus on all the things about each of us that we do well and are our strengths, it really does make a difference in our outlook and how we are able to cope in our everyday world.”
The event also includes a selfie station and will have Camino staff there until Friday to talk about their services.
Elop said the it will be open at Conestoga Mall until the end of the month.
