Guelph thieves make off with dozens of bottles of alcohol in 2 incidents

Guelph police are investigating after dozens of bottles of hooch, specifically scotch and cognac were stolen on Sunday.
Police said it began when a man walked out of the LCBO location on Scottsdale Drive with several bottles of liquor concealed in his jacket. At the same time, another man loaded 18 bottles of scotch into a cart and walked right out the front door with no attempt to pay.
Police describe the first suspect as 5’7″, about 35 to 40 years of age and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, blue hat and carrying a blue bag.
The second suspect was said to be 5’9”, about 35 to 40 years of age, 180 pounds; wearing a black shirt, green khaki pants, red and black hat with the Punisher logo, Converse shoes and pulling a blue roller bag.

Less than an hour later, two more men walked into the storage area of the same LCBO, proceeded to load 44 bottles of high-end scotch and cognac into a cart and left out the backdoor.
The first suspect was described as a make with brown skin, with a beard wearing a green jacket, grey sweatpants, checkered scarf and black and white shoes. The second suspect was also described as a male with brown skin wearing a black jacket, black pants, black winter hat and white shoes.
Police have not indicated a dollar value of the stolen hooch and it’s not known at this time if the thefts are connected.
