ION train service back on schedule in Waterloo

Grand River Transit reports ION service is now back on track – following a reported disruption on Thursday.

It was around 10:21 a.m. when the region’s transit service provider shared news of that issue – with a collision halting ION trains between Laurier-Waterloo Park Station and Grand River Hospital.

Replacement shuttle buses were rolled out – but roughly 20 minutes later, that service disruption was cleared.

ION trains have since returned to their regular schedule.
