Shots fired at Kitchener home in early morning shooting

No one was hurt, but someone was home when Waterloo Regional Police say shots were fired at a Kitchener house early Thursday.

It’s believed shots were fired at the side of a residence in the Howe Drive and Ottawa Street South area of the city around 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 9. That’s near Westmount Road East in the Laurentian Park area of the city.

Officers were seen investigating the bullet holes on the side of the home Thursday afternoon around 4:30 p.m.

Police note in a release, “The residence was occupied at the time, but no physical injuries were sustained.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
