A man and a woman are facing a long list of charges after police spotted what they believed to be a stolen pick-up truck in Kitchener.
Waterloo Regional Police say it began just before 6:30 on Wednesday evening, when officers located a Dodge Ram truck around Mausser Avenue and Aspen Avenue, just off Stirling Avenue near Homer Watson Boulevard.
Officers arrested a woman inside the truck, but a man ran from the truck into an apartment building.
Police contained the unit he went into, and arrested him soon after 8:00 p.m.
Officers reportedly seized two pellet guns and two knives, along with drugs including suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription pills.
A 28-year-old woman from Kitchener, and a 45-year-old man were charged with five counts of drug trafficking, plus possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, breaching probation and other offences.
