Regional police investigating Kitchener robbery

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery that saw one employee of a store assaulted.
On Dec. 7, police reported to a business in the area of King Street West and Andrew Street after receiving calls of a suspect assaulting a store employee while shoplifting. The suspect was able to flee the scene before police arrived.
No physical injuries were reported during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, six feet tall, wearing all black and carrying a yellow backpack.
