Saturday Santa Claus Parades taking place in Hespeler, Guelph and Fergus

Santa Claus parades are taking place in Cambridge, Guelph, and Fergus on Saturday, giving everyone a chance to get those letters to Santa.
In Cambridge, the 44th annual Hespeler Santa Claus parade will start at noon, running from Groh Avenue, all the way up and over the bridge at Jacob’s Landing to the corner of Guelph Avenue and Sheffield Street.
The Canada Post strike has kept many from delivering a letter to Santa Claus, people can pass along those letters to volunteers in the parade.
The Cambridge Food Bank will also be collecting non-perishable food items.
Santa Claus himself will be at the Scout House in Forbes Park to give goodie bags to all the children.
In Guelph, the Spirit of the Season Festival runs on Saturday night, with the Santa Run and Santa Claus Parade running through the downtown core starting at 5:30 p.m.
In Fergus, the “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” Santa Claus Parade runs down St. Andrews Street West starting at the Legion at 1:30 p.m.
