It was a winning weekend for the Kitchener Rangers, with victories against both Peterborough Friday and Sarnia on Sunday.
Nov. 17 didn’t start strong for the Rangers, but they pushed through for an eventual dominating 5-0 win against the Sting.
“They didn’t have their legs, they didn’t have the jump, they got outshot 10-5, and really Sarnia was in control in the first period. That being said, the Rangers found their legs, and were able to take control of the game from the second period on,” says 570 NewsRadio Colour Commentator Paul Fixter.
Joining the team this weekend, a third-rounder to the NHL, Jack Pridham.

Fixter says Pridham has already made quite the impact.
“He’s a great addition to that top six unit playing with (Luke) Ellinas and (Tanner) Lam. I think he is a tremendous addition to this hockey club. Offensively he is gifted, defensively he is very smart as well. He is a nice Christmas gift that came early.”
Pridham netted one of the five goals Sunday, with the other four from Ellinas (x2), Justin Bottineau, and Luca Romano.
The Kitchener Rangers have a quick turnaround facing off against rivals London Knights Tuesday.
