Rangers are number one in the league, defeating the Petes 4-1

The Kitchener Rangers have claimed the top spot in the OHL after a 4-1 home win against The Peterborough Petes.

Kitchener started slow but didn’t have any issues taking over the game against the last-place Petes.

The Rangers’ Trent Swick, Luke Ellinas, Adrian Misaljevic, and Cameron Mercer scored goals.

Goalie Jackson Parsons stopped 23 of 24 shots in the win.

It was also the first game for Jack Pridham, son of Assistant General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs Brandon Pridham.

Jack Pridham is a 3rd round draft pick of the Chicago Blackhawks and was signed by the Kitchener Rangers on Thursday.

The Rangers’ next game is against the Sarnia Sting on Sunday.
