WRPS investigating attempted robbery in Cambridge

An attempted robbery in Cambridge ended with a noxious substance being sprayed, and regional police are investigating.

The incident took place at around 1:50 p.m. on November 8 in the area of Christopher Dr. and Champlain Blvd.

A male was walking with a friend when two unknown males approached them and demanded they hand over their personal property. After the victim refused one suspect reportedly punched them in the face, and the other then sprayed him in the face with a noxious substance.

The victim sustained minor physical injuries from the incident and was transported to a local hospital.

The first suspect is described as being a white male, 15 to 18 years old, around five foot seven inches tall with brown eyes and wearing a black puffy jacket and black face mask

The second suspect is described as being a white male, 15 to 18 years old, around five foot six inches tall with blond hair and wearing a ski mask, black coat, and a black fanny pack
