Gun, ammunition stolen from parked car in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a gun and ammunition were stolen in Kitchener.

Police said the firearm and bullets were taken from a locked vehicle that was parked in the Yellow Birch Drive and Hoddle Crescent area.

The owner discovered the weapon was missing around 9:20 a.m. on Nov. 6 and it’s believed it was stolen sometime during the overnight hours.

Police want anyone with information on the theft to contact investigators or leave anonymous tips with Crime Stoppers.
