Police investigating stabbing in Kitchener, one person in hospital with ‘serious’ injuries

Waterloo Regional Police are asking people to avoid an area near downtown Kitchener as they investigate a stabbing.

According to officials, there is an increased police presence near the intersection of Weber Street East and Madison Avenue North for a stabbing incident.

One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are asking everyone to avoid the area and find an alternate route on their morning commute.
