Motorcyclist thrown from bike in Cambridge minivan collision

Charges are expected to be laid for a motorcycle crash in Cambridge that saw the bike driver ejected onto the roadway on Thursday.

Waterloo Regional Police say it happened just before 7 p.m. on Speedsville Road Near Middle Block Road, not far from Kossuth Road.

Police say a 38-year-old man from Cambridge driving the motorcycle down Speedsville, crossed into the opposite lane, colliding with a minivan.

The bike driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police make no mention of any injuries for the 55-year-old woman from Cambridge driving the minivan.

For now, the investigation continues.
