Police respond to gunpoint robbery on Green Valley Drive in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a reported armed robbery in a south Kitchener neighbourhood.

It happened at 8:40, Wednesday night, in the area of Green Valley Drive and Mill Park Drive.

Police say the victim had arranged to purchase a vehicle from an online website, meeting the seller at a residential building when they were approached by two unknown men.

One of those suspects pointed a firearm at the victim, demanding their personal property and stealing goods before fleeing the area.

Police have since confirmed that no physical injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

One of the suspects has been described as being Middle Eastern, around 40-years-old with short hair. He was wearing all black. Both suspects were said to be seen in a black SUV.

Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
