One hurt, one arrested in Waterloo stabbing
One man was hurt and another man was arrested in connection to a stabbing investigation in Waterloo.
Regional police were called to the Amos Avenue and Churchill Crescent area around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Officers found a 32-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and he was taken to an out-of-region hospital.

His injuries are described as being serious but non-life-threatening.
Investigators arrested a 24-year-old man who has been charged with assault and weapons-related offences.
According to police, both men know each other and there’s no public safety concerns.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing and police want anyone with information to come forward.
