The Cedar Creek Road and Dumfries Road intersection was closed to traffic on Thursday following a crash.

Waterloo Regional Police confirmed the crash near Ayr was between two vehicles.

No further details on the collision were immediately available, except a motorcycle and transport truck were involved.

There’s no word on any reported injuries or a reopening time known for the Dumfries Road and Cedar Creek Road intersection.

Drivers need to avoid the area and plan an alternate route.
