Police investigating cyclist collision involving 16-year-old

Regional police are investigating a collision involving a cyclist in Kitchener.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon just before 1p.m. in the area of Max Becker Drive and Activa Avenue.

According to police the cyclist, a 16-year-old from Kitchener was transported to a local hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver has been identified as a 70-year-old woman, also from Kitchener. She was not hurt.
