Waterloo Region school board seeking public input on policy changes

Families and community members in Waterloo Region can have their say on how they want the school board to operate going forward.

Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is asking for public input on a number of policies that affect everyday operation at schools.

That includes dress codes, drug education, the displaying of flags and parent, guardian, or caregiver support.

In a post on social media, WRDSB says it’s “committed to a culture of consultation and transparency.”

Feedback can be sent to the school board until Oct. 25 by visiting the website.

The school board collects this kind of input twice per year, and if you miss out on having your say this time around, there’ll be another opportunity in February.
