Listowel Road reopens in Elmira following collision

A portion of Listowel Road between Steffler Road and Line 86 has reopened after a Tuesday morning crash in Elmira.

According to regional police a tractor trailer knocked down hydro poles in the area.

The roadway was closed for most of the day on Tuesday before reopening around 7 p.m. while repairs are made.

Police have said that no physical injuries have been reported.

That collision resulted in power outages for a number of Enova Power Corp. customers in Woolwich and Wellesley, which has since been resolved.
