Three dead, three injured after crash in Wellesley

Three people are dead and three others are injured after a two-vehicle crash in Wellesley.

The collision was reported Monday around 9:40 a.m. at Hessen Strasse and Greenwood Hill Road.

According to police, a Tesla and Dodge Ram truck collided at the intersection.

The driver of the Tesla, a 25-year-old Cambridge man, was pronounced dead at the scene along with one of his passengers, a 30-year-old Kitchener man.

A second passenger, a 23-year-old Kitchener woman, was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

A third Tesla passenger, a 23-year-old Kitchener man, was sent to an out-of-region hospital. His injuries are described as being non-life-threatening.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 28-year-old man from Perth County, and his passenger, a 28-year-old woman from Perth County, were both taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate the triple fatal crash and are asking any witnesses, including those with dash cam video, to come forward.
