Police investigating suspicious interaction in Elmira
A suspicious interaction in Elmira has police investigating.
Police were called Sunday around 4:30 p.m. after they received a report of a vehicle approaching a male youth who was riding his bike.
It happened on Church Street West near Killdeer Road and the involved vehicle is described as a dark grey van.

A male occupant in the backseat of the van spoke to the young boy, who then fled and was unharmed.
The unknown male is described as being white and was wearing a white t-shirt.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact investigators.
